Afterlife Epoch is a community-driven server built around the players. We offer incredibly challenging survival, endless custom events, a custom-built World Boss, a PvP town on a PvE server, a player city & market, unique POIs, indoor auto-miners, the ability to teleport to friends, and incredibly long-term endgame progression.
A large portion of our player base will literally change their real-life plans to attend events. Many of the events and systems now seen on smaller Project-Z servers started on Afterlife first. If you’ve played them elsewhere, there’s a good chance they were born here. Every wipe, we continue adding new custom items, server-side mods, and larger events — always shaped by what our players want their 7 Days experience to be.
What really makes Afterlife different, though, is the people that make up our healthy player base. When you log in after a few days, you'll be greeted in either game or coms by new friends.
The admin team has played together for many years so what one admin says, they all say, there is no confusion or drama from the staff - which means you can feel secure in knowing we will all be here wipe after wipe.
The community is active, and incredibly welcoming. Players genuinely form connections, and become friends here. You will find a spot here, as long as you are 18+ and here to play the game, not cause issues.

Whether you’re here for difficult survival, endgame content, events, or just a solid group to play with — welcome home! We can't wait to party up with you!
See you in the Wasteland,

NEW - AFTERLIFE TITLE SYSTEM
A full MMO style Title System built directly into the game, and honestly, it blows away the sometimes clunky website based systems other servers use.
No creating accounts.
No giving your e-mail away.
No linking profiles.
No constantly tabbing out to some browser page trying to sort through menus.
No disconnected “achievement tracker” that feels separate from the game.
We get it, we get it... you just want to kill zombies and unleash your inner loot goblin.
Everything happens live in game, while you play. You acces everything IN GAME.

Your character evolves based on HOW you survive. Earn titles for surviving impossible situations, never dying, dying constantly, looting like a maniac, and killing hordes. Some titles are hard earned. Some are hilarious. Some are downright embarrassing.

And unlike title systems that are basically just cosmetic fluff, our titles actually matter. Every title comes with real buffs and progression bonuses that slowly shape your build over time.
Two players can end up feeling completely different depending on how they play, what risks they take, and what kind of survivor they become.
It feels less like a server plugin and more like an actual RPG progression system built into 7 Days to Die. It really changes how you play.

May, 2026 Updates
A lot has been happening on Afterlife this month:
• CHICKEN COOPS added
• New custom indoor AUTOMINERS designed by Seven
• Double XP running until wipe, which is happening on MAY 22, 2026 between 6pm and 8pm (est).
• Additional voting rewards added

We have also introduced new events, including The Afterlife Trials and a daily World Boss.
• We have also added HORDE NIGHT REWARDS. After Horde Night, the top 3 players with the most kills receive a rewards crate deposited directly into their inventory. Without giving too much away, it runs beautifully, and the competition has already been fierce.
• THE AFTERLIFE TRIALS are a series of games designed to slowly whittle a large group down until only two final victors remain.

THE AFTERLIFE TRIALS, designed by our players Locke & DrZoidberg!
Each round eliminates more survivors through a mix of chaos, strategy, panic, and pure luck. One game throws players into endless dark underground tunnels (oh. it's dark dark) while a random wheel selects two murderers... another forces survivors across bridges loaded with collapsing paths and bad decisions. And yes... there is even a twisted 7 Days to Die version of musical chairs we call... Door Dash.
Every round feels different, and by the end, only two players are left standing. They did an OUTSTANDING job!
Endless thanks to Seven for continuing to design systems and events that make Afterlife feel like its own world, instead of just another server.
