Afterlife Zombies is proud to announce that this next Project Z map is, without question, the biggest and most insane overhaul we’ve ever done. This wipe is packed with major changes, brand new content, and a level of chaos we’ve never brought to the server before.
For the first time, we are introducing a massive PVP arena on this PVE map, featuring a fully custom-built Old West style town. Walk into the saloon, hide in the streets, take cover in the general store, or step into the church — but remember, you’re not there to roleplay. You’re there to survive. Whether you choose to pray or choose to hunt your friends is entirely up to you.
Of course, we’ll be hosting events in this arena regularly, including one of the most anticipated events we’ve ever introduced: The Hunger Games. When the Hunger Games begin, everyone will empty their bags and start completely naked with nothing. Scattered throughout the arena will be chests containing weapons, armor, supplies, and other necessities you’ll need to survive. To make sure the event is as fair as possible to achieve, Seven has written custom code that locks every player’s health pool to 1000, regardless of level. Whether you’re level 20 or level 400, everyone starts on equal footing. No stat advantage, no excuses — just skill, strategy, and survival.
The community voted, and we listened. This wipe’s Sanctuary City theme will be Steampunk, and P00tx and Chunafish have been hard at work designing it. The result is absolutely insane, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most impressive custom towns we’ve ever had on the server.
And because the community is always hungry for harder and harder POIs, we are introducing a new series of extremely challenging locations known as Battle Towers. These POIs are not normal clears. They are brutal vertical fights packed with insane zombies and high-risk encounters, but the loot waiting at the top makes the climb worth it. The higher you go, the more dangerous it becomes.
